La practica du mercredi midi, qui commence à 12h30 et termine à 14h30, est une occasion parfaite pour utiliser le temps de midi pour pratiquer et améliorer notre tango, pour revoir des pas qui n’ont pas été fixés ou encore afin de stabiliser des améliorations techniques que nous sommes en train d’introduire dans notre danse. C’est aussi l’occasion de rencontrer des nouveaux et nouvelles danseurs et danseuses dans un contexte plus intime et familial que celui d’une milonga. Entre 12h45 et 13h45 les professeurs Jessica et Sergio assumeront un rôle actif dans la practica : en répondant à des questions, en aidant à résoudre des problèmes, en donnant des conseilles sur l’exécution d’un mouvement ou sur la technique, en intervenant afin d’améliorer l’interprétation d’une figure.
Notre chef Dominique préparera pour nous des excellents repas : tapas, salades, soupes, sandwiches et tartines.
Le prix de la practica est 6 euros.

The practica of Wednesday lunchtime, which begins at 12:30 pm and ends at 2:30 pm, is a perfect opportunity to use the lunch time to practice and improve our tango, to review steps that have not been fixed or to stabilize technical improvements that we are introducing into our dance. It is also an opportunity to meet new dancers in a more intimate and family context than a milonga. Between 12:45 and 13:45 professors Jessica and Sergio will take an active role in the practice: answering questions, helping to solve problems, giving advice on the execution of a movement or on the technique, intervening to improve the interpretation of a figure.
Our chef Dominique will prepare excellent meals for us: tapas, salads, soups, sandwiches and sandwiches.

Pratiquant la danse depuis l'âge de 13 ans, Aurore découvre le tango en 2004 et multiplie les voyages à Buenos Aires pour se former auprès de grands maestros. Sa passion grandissante et de riches rencontres l'amènent à former plusieurs projets professionnels. Elle enseigne à Paris depuis une dizaine d'années, ainsi que dans plusieurs pays ( Italie, Belgique, Russie, Indonésie, etc..). Fraichement revenue d'une année intense passée en Argentine ( formation au tango de scène, participation aux diverses compétitions -elle est vice championne du festival carlos gardel à Rosario-) elle a hâte de transmettre son expérience et vous aider à trouver votre tango.

Thee feeling and the roots of tango: In this course we will explore the reasons why people talk about dancing with the old milongueros feels so great. Both for leader and followers. We will choose a different milonguero every week and analyse their style and moves and how with time these moves became a defining characteristic of tango and are used now a days by profesional and social dancers all over the world. But mainly we will focus in understanding the mind set that make them find their style and why dancers from all generations in argentina always choose to dance with them and talk about how confortable the feeling is. It is also interesting to point out that many of them were dancing at the same time that the music was being composed, so it is fair to say that the music influenced their dance as much as their moves influenced the composers.

∇ "Tango Fantasia" (days: 20 September, 04 -18 October, 08 -  22 November, 06 December.)

In this course we will work on some choreographic elements. The objective is to work in dynamics, lines, utilization of the space, interpretation of music. Elements of Tango Fantasy will be applied. At the end of the course we will make a performance in our practica.

Special Tango Coaching sessions by Marisa & Oliver
=> The Tango coaching session is a new concept half-way between a private class and a group workshop.
We work with a maximum of 6 couples to be able to give more personal feed-back and corrections to each of them. Although we can propose a movement for each level, the aim is more to "coach" the participants in their personal tango dance. Like in a private class, we will work on the posture, connection, leading, following, musicality, technique, refinement, etc. rather than teaching a new figure. Participants can of course also propose a theme or subject they would like to work.

Level: all levels interested in this coaching session, minimum 6 months tango required.

=> Le Tango coaching est un concept original à mi-chemin entre un cours privé et un atelier de groupe.
Nous travaillons avec un maximum de 6 couples pour pouvoir donner plus de feedback personnel et corrections à chacun d'eux. => De Tango coaching sessie is een nieuw concept ergens tussen een privéles en een groepsworkshop.

À ne pas manquer si vous voulez donner un coup de pouce à votre tango, le raffiner ou simplement (re)apprendre sur des bases solides. Dans ses cours, il prête attention à chacun avec des indications personnelles précises. C'est un honneur pour moi de l'assister et de l'inviter pour vous.

De meeste onder ons kennen hem al en volgen hem al een paar jaar, maar toch hier een kleine presentatie van Richard Manuel. Niet te missen als je je tango een boost wil geven of verfijnen of simpelweg op goede basis en fundamenten wil (bij)leren.  Richard Manuel is an Argentine Tango dancer, choreographer and teacher. He has appeared on many shows including : “La Milonga Interna”, “Una noche en Buenos Aires”, both directed by Biljana Lipic, “Romance d’Carnaval” (UK Tour) directed by Myriam Ojeda, “Ferverosa” (UK tour) directed by Wendy Hesketh and “Tangomotion” (UK tour) with the band Tango Siempre. 
He was also part of the creative team and choreographer of the show “Tango ! Tango !”, directed by Justin Pearson, about the life of Astor Piazzolla which has toured the UK in 2008, 2009 & 2012. 
In 2009 he choreographed “Bolero” de Ravel for 4 tango dancers for Conductor Darrell Davison. 
In November 2011 he joined the show “Midnight Tango” (West End, UK Tour & Strictly Come Dancing on BBC 1) directed by Karen Bruce (344 shows in 2012 & 2013).
Between 2014 and 2019 he has toured the UK with the new “Tangomotion” show.
More recently, in 2018 he choreographed and performed in three promotional videos : for the Santiago Quartet; the rock band The 5th Element and The Great Masked Ball for The Lost Estate and choreographed, performed and directed a solo piece for a video clip called “Barreras de Amor”.

Richard has taught and performed argentine tango for 20 years in 12 countries and more than 140 cities around the world for workshops, festivals & shows.

La practica du mercredi midi, qui commence à 12h30 et termine à 14h30, est une occasion parfaite pour utiliser le temps de midi pour pratiquer et améliorer notre tango, pour revoir des pas qui n’ont pas été fixés ou encore afin de stabiliser des améliorations techniques que nous sommes en train d’introduire dans notre danse. C’est aussi l’occasion de rencontrer des nouveaux et nouvelles danseurs et danseuses dans un contexte plus intime et familial que celui d’une milonga. Entre 12h45 et 13h45 les professeurs Jessica et Sergio assumeront un rôle actif dans la practica : en répondant à des questions, en aidant à résoudre des problèmes, en donnant des conseilles sur l’exécution d’un mouvement ou sur la technique, en intervenant afin d’améliorer l’interprétation d’une figure.
Notre chef Dominique préparera pour nous des excellents repas : tapas, salades, soupes, sandwiches et tartines.
Le prix de la practica est 6 euros.

Nous pensons que les cours de technique sont une étape essentielle pour développer les sensations et la communication à deux dans le bal.
Nous pensons aussi qu’il est parfois difficile de s’engager pour un cours hebdomadaire à l’année, au tango bar c’est un mois, un prof et pas besoin de partenaire.

Tango lovers will have from the 05th December a very special occasion as maestro Hernán Álvarez arrives in Brussels. This eminence of the 2x4 at world level will disembark in Brussels to share his knowledge through an unmissable seminar and will also deploy his talent on Saturday, in the milonga Tango Factory.

Hernan grew up and lives in the Mecca of Tango, Buenos Aires, where he started dancing since a very young age. Now he has more than 20 years of experience as tango dancer and teacher. He learned from the main milongueros and maestros in the history of tango.

These classes are experienced as very tranformative due to the nature of the methodology which you can find back on www.tarquino.be - It is becoming aware of those elements and tools which your need, what the priorities are of integration and which ones are inhibiting your progression.

Two hours full of;

1) Warming up, linear and circular movements with change of focus and energy, combined with adornos and change of weight.

2)Working on the development of the communication channel of the embrace, from open to close embrace with various changing directions and dynamics.

3)Development of the dissociation, preparation, discharging energy.

4)Continiuous interchanging practice in group and one-on-one with the teacher.

These courses are for everyone who really wants to develop him/her self as a dancer. Every level of dancer is welcome as interactions are learned and coached on individual possibilities and development.

∇ "El Tango de antes" (days: 13 September, 11 - 25 October, 15 - 29 November, 13 December. )

Thee feeling and the roots of tango: In this course we will explore the reasons why people talk about dancing with the old milongueros feels so great. Both for leader and followers. We will choose a different milonguero every week and analyse their style and moves and how with time these moves became a defining characteristic of tango and are used now a days by profesional and social dancers all over the world. But mainly we will focus in understanding the mind set that make them find their style and why dancers from all generations in argentina always choose to dance with them and talk about how confortable the feeling is. It is also interesting to point out that many of them were dancing at the same time that the music was being composed, so it is fair to say that the music influenced their dance as much as their moves influenced the composers.

∇ "Tango Fantasia" (days: 20 September, 04 -18 October, 08 -  22 November, 06 December.)

In this course we will work on some choreographic elements. The objective is to work in dynamics, lines, utilization of the space, interpretation of music. Elements of Tango Fantasy will be applied. At the end of the course we will make a performance in our practica.

C'est quoi une Permanence ? C'est un service chargé d'assurer le fonctionnement ininterrompu d'un organisme. C'est aussi un service de garde, de renseignements...

Notre association, Nosotros asbl, est une association culturelle, festive et pédagogique. Tous les samedis nous vous proposons une "practica" ** de 4 heures et demie pour venir danser et faire la fête avec nous. Dans cette "practica", un créneau horaire où l'un de nos professeurs est à votre disposition, vous pouvez lui poser des questions, lui montrer des mouvements, lui demander conseil. Michel à préparé sa playlist et le bar est ouvert pour agrémenter la soirée Cocktails et de quoi grignoter sur place assurés.

We are happy to host a great dancer of tango salon Hernan Alvarez Prieto in Brussels.

Tango lovers will have from the 05th December a very special occasion as maestro Hernán Álvarez arrives in Brussels. This eminence of the 2x4 at world level will disembark in Brussels to share his knowledge through an unmissable seminar and will also deploy his talent on Saturday, in the milonga Tango Factory.

Hernan grew up and lives in the Mecca of Tango, Buenos Aires, where he started dancing since a very young age. Now he has more than 20 years of experience as tango dancer and teacher. He learned from the main milongueros and maestros in the history of tango.

La practica du mercredi midi, qui commence à 12h30 et termine à 14h30, est une occasion parfaite pour utiliser le temps de midi pour pratiquer et améliorer notre tango, pour revoir des pas qui n’ont pas été fixés ou encore afin de stabiliser des améliorations techniques que nous sommes en train d’introduire dans notre danse. C’est aussi l’occasion de rencontrer des nouveaux et nouvelles danseurs et danseuses dans un contexte plus intime et familial que celui d’une milonga. Entre 12h45 et 13h45 les professeurs Jessica et Sergio assumeront un rôle actif dans la practica : en répondant à des questions, en aidant à résoudre des problèmes, en donnant des conseilles sur l’exécution d’un mouvement ou sur la technique, en intervenant afin d’améliorer l’interprétation d’une figure.
Notre chef Dominique préparera pour nous des excellents repas : tapas, salades, soupes, sandwiches et tartines.

The practica of Wednesday lunchtime, which begins at 12:30 pm and ends at 2:30 pm, is a perfect opportunity to use the lunch time to practice and improve our tango, to review steps that have not been fixed or to stabilize technical improvements that we are introducing into our dance. It is also an opportunity to meet new dancers in a more intimate and family context than a milonga. Between 12:45 and 13:45 professors Jessica and Sergio will take an active role in the practice: answering questions, helping to solve problems, giving advice on the execution of a movement or on the technique, intervening to improve the interpretation of a figure.
Our chef Dominique will prepare excellent meals for us: tapas, salads, soups, sandwiches and sandwiches.
The price of the practice is 6 euros.

Thee feeling and the roots of tango: In this course we will explore the reasons why people talk about dancing with the old milongueros feels so great. Both for leader and followers. We will choose a different milonguero every week and analyse their style and moves and how with time these moves became a defining characteristic of tango and are used now a days by profesional and social dancers all over the world. But mainly we will focus in understanding the mind set that make them find their style and why dancers from all generations in argentina always choose to dance with them and talk about how confortable the feeling is. It is also interesting to point out that many of them were dancing at the same time that the music was being composed, so it is fair to say that the music influenced their dance as much as their moves influenced the composers.

∇ "Tango Fantasia" (days: 20 September, 04 -18 October, 08 -  22 November, 06 December.)

In this course we will work on some choreographic elements. The objective is to work in dynamics, lines, utilization of the space, interpretation of music. Elements of Tango Fantasy will be applied. At the end of the course we will make a performance in our practica.

Workshop Tango-Vals 18h30 à 20h00

Le tango est un rêve, parfois sulfureux, Louise Jallu est une rêveuse, déterminée aussi. La précision de son doigté et la couleur de son phrasé en témoignent autant que les remarquables musiciens qu’elle a choisis pour l’accompagner. Grégoire Letouvet au piano, Alexandre Perrot à la contrebasse et l’étonnant Mathias Lévy au violon.

Si on peut écouter « Francesita » en boucle, c’est une chance de voir ce quartet sur scène, Louise Jallu jouant debout, le bandonéon appuyé sur un genou. Elle dirige, discrètement, cette célébration du tango dans la diversité de ses allures, de ses postures et de ses ruptures, les assauts et les larmes, la nostalgie et la conquête.

La plupart d'entre nous le connaissent et le suivent depuis quelques années, mais voici un petit exposé de Richard Manuel. À ne pas manquer si vous voulez donner un coup de pouce à votre tango, le raffiner ou simplement (re)apprendre sur des bases solides. Dans ses cours, il prête attention à chacun avec des indications personnelles précises. C'est un honneur pour moi de l'assister et de l'inviter pour vous.

De meeste onder ons kennen hem al en volgen hem al een paar jaar, maar toch hier een kleine presentatie van Richard Manuel. Niet te missen als je je tango een boost wil geven of verfijnen of simpelweg op goede basis en fundamenten wil (bij)leren. In zijn lessen geven hij aandacht aan iedereen met preciese persoonlijke indicaties. Het is een eer voor mij hem te assisteren en uit te nodigen voor jullie.

Most of us have known him and have been following him for a few years, but here is a small presentation by Richard Manuel. Not to be missed if you want to give your tango a boost or refine it or simply want to (re)learn on a solid basis and fundamentals.  Richard Manuel is an Argentine Tango dancer, choreographer and teacher. He has appeared on many shows including : “La Milonga Interna”, “Una noche en Buenos Aires”, both directed by Biljana Lipic, “Romance d’Carnaval” (UK Tour) directed by Myriam Ojeda, “Ferverosa” (UK tour) directed by Wendy Hesketh and “Tangomotion” (UK tour) with the band Tango Siempre. 
He was also part of the creative team and choreographer of the show “Tango ! Tango !”, directed by Justin Pearson, about the life of Astor Piazzolla which has toured the UK in 2008, 2009 & 2012. 
In 2009 he choreographed “Bolero” de Ravel for 4 tango dancers for Conductor Darrell Davison. 
In November 2011 he joined the show “Midnight Tango” (West End, UK Tour & Strictly Come Dancing on BBC 1) directed by Karen Bruce (344 shows in 2012 & 2013).
Between 2014 and 2019 he has toured the UK with the new “Tangomotion” show.
More recently, in 2018 he choreographed and performed in three promotional videos : for the Santiago Quartet; the rock band The 5th Element and The Great Masked Ball for The Lost Estate and choreographed, performed and directed a solo piece for a video clip called “Barreras de Amor”.

Richard has taught and performed argentine tango for 20 years in 12 countries and more than 140 cities around the world for workshops, festivals & shows.

Special Tango Coaching sessions by Marisa & Oliver
=> The Tango coaching session is a new concept half-way between a private class and a group workshop.
We work with a maximum of 6 couples to be able to give more personal feed-back and corrections to each of them. Although we can propose a movement for each level, the aim is more to "coach" the participants in their personal tango dance. Like in a private class, we will work on the posture, connection, leading, following, musicality, technique, refinement, etc. rather than teaching a new figure. Participants can of course also propose a theme or subject they would like to work.

Level: all levels interested in this coaching session, minimum 6 months tango required.

Séances spéciales de coaching de tango par Marisa et Oliver
=> Le Tango coaching est un concept original à mi-chemin entre un cours privé et un atelier de groupe.
Nous travaillons avec un maximum de 6 couples pour pouvoir donner plus de feedback personnel et corrections à chacun d'eux. Bien que nous proposons un mouvement comme point de départ pour tout le groupe, l'objectif est plus de "coacher" les participants dans leur danse de tango personnel. Comme dans un cours privé, nous travaillerons sur la posture, la connexion, le guidage, l'écoute, la musicalité, la technique, le raffinement, etc. plutôt que d'enseigner une nouvelle figure. => De Tango coaching sessie is een nieuw concept ergens tussen een privéles en een groepsworkshop.
We werken met maximaal 6 paren om meer persoonlijke feedback en correcties aan elk van hen te kunnen geven. La practica du mercredi midi, qui commence à 12h30 et termine à 14h30, est une occasion parfaite pour utiliser le temps de midi pour pratiquer et améliorer notre tango, pour revoir des pas qui n’ont pas été fixés ou encore afin de stabiliser des améliorations techniques que nous sommes en train d’introduire dans notre danse. C’est aussi l’occasion de rencontrer des nouveaux et nouvelles danseurs et danseuses dans un contexte plus intime et familial que celui d’une milonga. Entre 12h45 et 13h45 les professeurs Jessica et Sergio assumeront un rôle actif dans la practica : en répondant à des questions, en aidant à résoudre des problèmes, en donnant des conseilles sur l’exécution d’un mouvement ou sur la technique, en intervenant afin d’améliorer l’interprétation d’une figure.
Notre chef Dominique préparera pour nous des excellents repas : tapas, salades, soupes, sandwiches et tartines.
Le prix de la practica est 6 euros.
Le prix du repas changera en fonction du menu du jour.

The practica of Wednesday lunchtime, which begins at 12:30 pm and ends at 2:30 pm, is a perfect opportunity to use the lunch time to practice and improve our tango, to review steps that have not been fixed or to stabilize technical improvements that we are introducing into our dance. It is also an opportunity to meet new dancers in a more intimate and family context than a milonga. Between 12:45 and 13:45 professors Jessica and Sergio will take an active role in the practice: answering questions, helping to solve problems, giving advice on the execution of a movement or on the technique, intervening to improve the interpretation of a figure.
Our chef Dominique will prepare excellent meals for us: tapas, salads, soups, sandwiches and sandwiches.

Milonga hope is a free Argentinan dance night in the verry center of Brussels every tuesday. Chaque mois au Tango Bar, nous invitons un(e) danseur(seuse) à venir enseigner les mercredis soirs avant la milonga leur vision du Tango.
Nous pensons qu’il est riche dans un parcours d’apprentissage de se confronter à différentes pédagogies.
Nous pensons que les cours de technique sont une étape essentielle pour développer les sensations et la communication à deux dans le bal.
Nous pensons aussi qu’il est parfois difficile de s’engager pour un cours hebdomadaire à l’année, au tango bar c’est un mois, un prof et pas besoin de partenaire.
Si t’as envie de bosser, il n’y a qu’à foncer

Ce mois de Décembre, nous invitons le bien connu Mariano Galeano !
Danseur de grande renommée, chorégraphe et pédagogue précis et généreux, Mariano nous vient directement de Buenos Aires.
Ses cours de technique permettent une approche aussi fonctionnelle pour le bal que pour le tango de scène. Exigeant et souriant, il vous donnera tout ce dont vous aurez besoin pour aller plus loin dans votre danse.
Foncez prendre ses cours dès que possible, que ce soit chez nous ou ailleurs, c’est un conseil, vous en sortirez ravis !
