=> The Tango coaching session is a new concept half-way between a private class and a group workshop.
We work with a maximum of 6 couples to be able to give more personal feed-back and corrections to each of them. Although we can propose a movement for each level, the aim is more to "coach" the participants in their personal tango dance. Like in a private class, we will work on the posture, connection, leading, following, musicality, technique, refinement, etc. rather than teaching a new figure.
Participants can of course also propose a theme or subject they would like to work.

Level: all levels interested in this coaching session, minimum 6 months tango required.

Au programme du Bruxelles Aires Tango Orchestra : envolées lyriques, tension dramatique, mélodies et textes de grands poètes argentin tels Gardel ou Piazzola. Ce quartet, orchestre atypique bruxellois, se joue des codes du tango et y ajoute l’univers du cabaret, de la chanson et du théâtre. Que vous soyez féru, néophyte ou un tantinet timide, entrez dans ce spectacle musical poétique, ludique et audacieux. Le concert étant précédé d’une initiation au tango, vous pourrez donc choisir de profiter de la soirée confortablement installés à votre place ou de vous essayer à un pas de danse.

After this workshop, participants can continue directly in the weekly classes on Monday or Tuesday, or register for another Discovery workshop.
Level: initiation, no tango experience required, or for those who already did some classes or want to review the basics.
NB. The content of each Discovery workshop will be different and can be followed separately.

> a workshop with a medium degree of technique and a focus on creating a specific sequence
=>In this workshop Marisa & Oliver will propose some nice alterations (changes of directions and codes), that can easily be used on the pista. We will have a closer look at the technique and connection-disconnection tools in the frame that are needed for the alterations.
Level: as of 2 years tango experience. More complex variations will be proposed to more advanced dancers.

Intensive workshop by Marisa & Gaetan: Typical movements and musical sequences for Vals.

The intensive workshop will be articulated in 2 sessions of 90 minutes each.
Friday 2/12 from 20h00 till 21h30
Saturday 3/12 from 17h30 till 19h00

=> We have the pleasure to invite the talented dancer Gaetan Collaert, to give a workshop in La Tangueria with Marisa.
To compensate to the lack of material and inspiration many dancers seem to experience when the DJs put on tandas of vals, this workshop will propose some typical movements and musical sequences especially adapted to Vals rhythms, and danceable on the pista. Gaetan is an all-round dancer with a great musicality, and he is not often teaching tango in Brussels, so take advantage of this opportunity to dicover his skills in La Tangueria!

Level: intermediate and advanced, as of minimum 2 years tango. More complex variations will be proposed to the more advanced dancers.

Prices:
Intensive workshop by Gaetan & Marisa: 30 € pp (2 x 90 minutes). It is possible to participate to only 1 day if there are places left as of 48 hours before the workshop (17€ pp)
